GPR Antenna Sizes, Central Frequencies, and Dual frequency Overlap | Ground Penetrating Radar

By February 6, 2018 No Comments

This is a short video clip from a GPR Bootcamp I conducted in Sidney, Australia in September 2017.

In this clip I summarize the benefits and drawbacks of different ground penetrating radar antenna frequencies and illustrate how each antenna produces a range of frequencies surrounding what is known as a “central frequency”. This video is specific to pulse radar systems since those attending the workshop only used these types of systems.
